Big Bighead

Asian carp still seem to be growing, as evidenced by a pending 69 pound Illinois State record while the dust still settles on the 64 lb record set in 2008.  Look at the picture above and read what our new record holder had to say here.

Now that kid has a memory to last a lifetime.


  1. Hey Clif. I'd hate to be the one who was in the way if that thing flew out of the water. Be like getting hit by a freight train. OUCH.


  2. Wow! That thing is like a saltwater fish. Looks like it would have been a blast to catch.

  3. I can only hope there is a weight threshold, after which Asian carp stop jumping.

    If not, that guy was deadly about 50 pounds ago.
