The Key To Me: Words

It is Friday night again and here you are, don't pretend you have anything better going on.

Here is a great song that really turned me onto Conner Oberst and his band called Bright Eyes. The song is beautiful and the video may bring tears to your eyes. Grab your honey and head phones, check it out...

If you liked that (I'm sure you did), smash the play button on these other songs by Bright Eyes, I promise these are less mushy but no less poetic:

  3. @Evon: I don't deserve all the thanks, you're the one who showed me exactly how bad a Friday night post can be.

    @The Emb: No problem

  7. I was just looking over your blog. You have a lot of great stuff here. Then I saw this. Oberst is a pretty talented guy. I saw him (Bright Eyes) live a few times when I was college. I haven't listened to him much lately, but he is doing some stuff with another band that is pretty awesome. You should check out "Souled Out." It's a bit different than some of his more "mushy" stuff, but it's a fun song. The whole allbum they did with Neva Dinova is great too.

  8. yes. I just stumbled upon this post as I've been investigating the evolution of this Friday posting thing you've all got going on. I agree with the above mention of "souled out." as a great tune. I think on that same album is "Moab" which is also stellar.

    The first time I saw, "first day of my life" I probably watched it 15 times.

Clif reserves the right to delete your comment if he is so inclined, but he is a pretty liberal guy so post away and see what happens.
